Things you will need.
- Dish Soap
- Baking Soda
- Biological Enzymes Or Hydrogen Peroxide
- Essential Oil (Optional)
- Spray Bottle

Step 1: Remove All the Bedding
First, you need to remove all bedding from the mattress. The bedding is like bedsheets, pillowcases, and other bedding.
After removing the bedding put it into the washing machine with the mild detergent
Now, you have to follow the next step.
Step 2: Remove All Excess Liquid From the Mattress
If the stain is fresh then you have to remove the excess liquid from the mattress with the help of a towel or anything like that.
But, remember one thing while removing the liquid. While you are removing the excess liquid don’t press too hard.
Step 3: Create a Solution
For removing the stain from your mattress you have to create a solution.
Follow the procedure for making the solution.
Take ⅓ part of the warm water and ¼ part of the hydrogen peroxide and mix it well. Now add 3-5 drops of dish soap to the mixture. Mix them well, and pour the solution into a spray bottle.
If enzyme cleaner is not available then you can use hydrogen peroxide with the warm water.
Now, spray the mixture on the affected area of the mattress. But, do not spray too much liquid on the mattress.
If the excess liquid is absorbed by the mattress then it is very difficult to remove the liquid and it can make things worse.
Wait for 20 min to settle it up.
Step 4: Sprinkle Baking Soda.
After 20 mins now you need to remove the excess solution from the mattress using the paper towel.
When you remove the excess solution. Now it’s time to sprinkle the baking soda all over the mattress.
Baking soda helps to neutralize the smell from your mattress.
If you want a fragrance then you can add a few drops of the essential oil in it.
Step 5: Vaccum Up The Baking Soda.
After sprinkling the baking soda on the mattress wait for at least 8 hours.
After completing the 8 hours now you need to vacuum up the baking soda from the mattress.
After vacuuming the baking soda now dry the mattress using the blow dryer.
You can also use another way to dry the mattress which is to keep your mattress in the sunlight to completely dry.
When the process is done and if you don’t get the result you want. Then you can repeat the procedure until you get the desired result.
